The following outcomes are envisioned:
1) sustainability of a generation of empowered youth leaders who will contribute grassroots peace and community development initiatives in the ARMM and surrounding provinces;
2) new knowledge and skills in strategic planning, development and grassroots community building;
3) enhanced strategies and tools for mediation, for conflict resolution, respect for diversity and inter-ethnic understanding;
4) increased understanding of the differences between US and Philippines cultures;
5) appreciation of the value of community service as affirmed by expanded participation volunteer work in their respective communities;
6) established collaboration among a network of PYLP and ACCESS alumni in the development and implementation of community projects; and
7) extended relationship between alumni and their American families and friends.
